You & Your Lifestyle: Knight of Pentacles & Nourish
In terms of nourishing yourself and enriching your life, you haven’t fully mastered everything you’d like—but you are also no novice.
The advice here is to seek out the opportunities to nourish yourself and jump at the opportunities that present themselves.
Have you signed up for that new yoga class your friend invited you too? Did you ever get around to finishing that DIY project in your kitchen that was born purely out of sheer delight and colors you love? What about that coloring book you picked up two months ago that’s still sitting on the coffee table with your colored pencils patiently awaiting your return?
Nourishment can look like many things, and there is no excuse for not recognizing the opportunities to do so.
If permission is what you’ve needed, then here it is: Just fucking do it already. You can and should and will prioritize the things that feed you, your inner life, and your lifestyle—even the lifestyle you envision for yourself.
Your Muse & Passion: King of Swords & Undo
Your mental body is connected to your higher knowing—your intuition. You are more than capable of patience, order, decisiveness, and exercising authority over your life.
Look at what you’ve been half-assing. We’re not talking about your job or adult world obligations or even your relationships.
What practices, rituals, disciplines have become muddled or knocked down on the priority list? Untangle yourself from the thought of “Oh, I’ll do that later” or “I don’t have time for that right now.”
You need a hard rest on the routines and practices you know serve you, which ultimately pours over into your passions and creativity.
Are you not meditating because you’re too anxious to start your work day? Are you not stopping to eat something before you leave the house for the day? How many times will you tell yourself, “I’ll go on that walk tomorrow instead” but tomorrow never comes?
Hit refresh. Delete those thoughts and excuses from your inner dialogue. And of course, you don’t need to justify it to anyone. Even yourself.
Your Craft & Business Endeavors: Three of Cups & Purpose
When you’ve become too isolated, you will forget your “why.”
Why do you like writing or painting or sharing your craft? Why do you work with others in a particular field? Why do you pursue what you pursue?
Your purpose, your “why,” is not some comsic, mystical secret ordained to you in a riddled prophecy from the high oracle atop a cloudy mountain side. Frankly, your purpose is pretty simple. All of ours are. But there is beauty and something truly profound in the simplicity.
It grounds us.
Get out of your personal echo chamber, converse with your friends, colleagues, those who know you best or enjoy learning more about you. Just talk. About anything. Ask them what they are up to, what are they working on, what are they excited about?
Simply being in the company of your peers will help to jog your memory and you will wonder how you ever forgot in the first place.
